Mentor. Educate. Expand.

About Us
Clinical Fellowship Solutions (CFS) was created to provide an alternative and accessible method to complete the supervision requirements for new Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to satisfy California state licensure requirements and obtain a Certificate of Clinical Competence with American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). CFS allows provisional SLPs to begin their career in various clinical settings, expand their experiences, develop skills to become self-sustained clinicians, while being supervised under the guidance of experienced professionals
Our Services
For the company…
We provide an experienced licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to supervise your clinical fellow. What does this do?
Allows you to hire a new graduate
Frees up your full time SLP to continue seeing their caseload
Adds an additional member to your team without compromising the time allotted to patient and client care
Ensures all supervision requirements are fulfilled
Creates well-rounded clinicians that may continue working with you upon completion of their clinical fellowship year
For the clinical fellow…
We will supervise you! We know how difficult it can be to secure a clinical fellowship, let alone complete one, and CFS wants to help. What does this mean?
Allows you to complete your CFY in a wider variety of settings
Provides valuable knowledge in completing state licensure and ASHA requirements
Reviews and provides feedback for all documentation, including required co-signing of all notes
One-on-one direct and indirect supervision to support you in becoming a licensed SLP
For the field…
The field of Speech-Language Pathology is growing, however growth is slowed and limited by the number of SLPs available to supervise new clinicians. By providing experienced and licensed SLPs to supervise clinicians beginning their careers, CFS helps the field continue to expand. More licensed SLPs benefits our communities by giving students, clients, and patients the services they need. Why is this important?
Shorter time between graduation and obtaining a clinical fellowship
Mentorship creates SLPs that feel confident in their ability to practice independently resulting in better patient and client outcomes

About the Owner and Founder
Jamie is a licensed and board certified Speech-Language Pathologist currently practicing in the acute care setting at Kaiser Permanente in San Diego, California
Jamie received her Bachelor of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology from California State University, Northridge in 2016 and her Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology from San Diego State University in 2018
She has been practicing consistently and independently since completing her clinical fellowship year. Since then she has practiced in every setting the speech-language pathology field has to offer, including inpatient, outpatient, acute rehab, skilled nursing, clinical, and school settings. She has supervised students, speech-language pathology assistants, and clinical fellows
Jamie found a passion for mentoring students and new graduates who are still finding their way in the speech-language pathology field. Her goal is to provide access to more clinical fellowship positions, allowing a wider range of experience and career growth
It is Jamie’s hope that clients, patients, facilities, and new graduates will benefit from the thoughtful supervision that Clinical Fellowship Solutions will provide
